Career Consultant & Career Development Coach. 

My name is Samantha. I am a professional Career Development Coach that is passionate about helping professionals like you find a career that fulfills, challenges, and inspires you because I’ve been there—feeling stuck in a job that didn’t resonate.

I dove into my career without a clear direction. I pursued a Bachelor of Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing, which led me to sales roles and gaining experience in Public Relations at organizations such as Edelman. My journey took me from creative arts PR agencies to 'Cultural Agenda' in London, which managed the accounts for interior designers and brands.

I spent time going to chic Chelsea cafes and running in heels to Vogue London office to pick up the latest magazine with our clients press coverage. And whilst I knew I could build a good career in this area, I felt wildly disconnected and unfulfilled. I left London with a wealth of new knowledge but an uncomfortable feeling of knowing I had to make a change but having ZERO idea what that change looked like. 

With my experience and qualifications rooted in Communications, PR & Sales I faced a tough question: Who would hire me for something different? And what did I even want to do?

So began a process of navigating how to determine what I ACTUALLY wanted out of my career and what sort of paths would engage and suit me. Having spent time realigning, I ultimately went back to Deakin University and completed the equivalent of a four-year Psychological Science University Degree in one year. 

I started seeking out roles that were in alignment with the direction I knew I needed to be headed in. And then the opportunity came along - CAREER CONSULTING. 

I knew I didn't have the specific experience. But what I did have was the transferrable skills that I knew were ESSENTIAL for the role, the motivation, the enthusiasm and a story I knew I could make connect. 

I remained clear in my target, my message and my unique selling points. I strategically positioned and branded myself. I had a story to tell that others could connect with. I positioned myself as the most investible candidate inspite of having the least industry experience at the time. 

And I got the job as a Career Consultant. I was immersed in the world of careers, learning from top Career, HR, and Recruitment experts. Over time, I worked my way up to Head Career Coach – and I’ve never looked back. I love what I do. I help people every day, it aligns with my ideal lifestyle, and I get to connect with others while continuing to learn about industry trends, strategies, and emerging tactics. I have now coached over 900+ professionals over the course of my career. 

I stay in close contact with my network across industries, gathering personal insights on how they hire and what they’re looking for. I’m driven by a passion for bridging the gap between employers and job seekers.

I share this because if you feel like change isn’t possible – I’m here to tell you it is. Now, I want to teach others the process.
